BAGHDAD - A car bomb exploded at a police station north of Baghdad on Monday, killing at least nine people and injuring many more, police said.
The explosion ripped through the Zuhour police station at Husseiniyah village, 18 miles north of Baghdad, a police official told Reuters.
A second car bomb was discovered outside a police station in Amiriyah neighborhood of the capital and sappers were defusing the explosives, he said.
