The three communications which the Commission today adopted, at the initiative of President Romano Prodi, the Member of the Commission responsible for economic and monetary affairs, Pedro Solbes and the Member responsible for development and humanitarian aid, Poul Nielson, will be widely discussed within civil society and by the public at large.
